The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and its Section for Quantitative Sustainability Assessment (QSA) of the Department of Environmental and Resource Engineering (DTU Sustain) is one of the leading groups in the development and application of science-based methods to assess relative and absolute environmental sustainability of products and technologies in a life cycle perspective. DTU was found to be the most publishing and cited university in life cycle assessment (LCA) worldwide.
