The Public Event “How can the EU develop a viable recycling chain for rare earths? took place the June 15^th 2023 in CEPS headquarter. Milan Grohol, EU Policy Officer, DG Grow, European Commission; Carlo Burkhardt, Scientific Director Institute for Precious and Technology Metals, Pforzheim University; Spomenka Kobe, Professor, Joseph Stefan Institute; Jürgen Miller, Director Product Support & Release Management, SEW Eurodrive, coordinated by Vasileios Rizos, from CEPS, discussed how to develop a recycling chain for rare earth permanent magnets in the EU. 45 participants from policy, industry and academia joined the INSPIRES event.
