The past ICM-2024 that took place in Bologna, Italy, 30th June – 5th July 2024, had several contributions from INSPIRES. In the Session Critical challenges and Magnetic Materials (raw materials, sustainability, automotive)” Prof. Spomenka Kobe from JSI had an invited talk titled “Sustainable Processing of Innovative Rare-Earth Magnets”. She presented a general view of the most important results of the project. In the same Session, Alba Torres from CSIC has an oral presentation on “The use of hydrogen for processing NdFeB recycled powders”. Adrián Quesada from CSIC presented a poster on “Establishing the procedure to efficiently recycle SrFe12O19 magnets from end-of-life home appliances”. César de Julián Fernández from CNR, out-of-program, placed a poster during all the Conference describing the Inspires project.
The Conference had more of 2000 participants with 6 main Themes split in 55 Sessions, 4 of those related on permanent magnets and critical raw materials.
